Just wondering how do you tell an early model MAF from a late model MAF. I was going to go to the j-yard tomorrow and pick up a 94 95 MAF and the guy said "hey yeah we got one its part # F1SF-12B579-AA-AFH70-02" well that was the same as my 95 so then i looked at my 91 and it has the identical part number. The only thing I can see different is blew THAT part # theres a smaller 4 digit number. The 95 says 3609 and the 91 says 0F26. Any ideas? THanks.

91 - 95 use the same MAF, it's just the 89 - 90 that have the smaller one. F1SF means 1991 T-Bird. That's what was on my 95 SC originally. The other numbers you see are just manufacturing date codes.

cheers,
Ed N.
