Better yet... Who is willing to chip in and help pay to get a dyno to the event? I know for sure that ESM & SCPerformance will be at the event and you all want to get some before/after numbers on your cars after you install some new parts. Reply to this post if you think you'll be able to go in on dyno costs and I will be trying to get some pricing and availability info today.

Jason this is great, let me know when you get a price. SCPerformance is willing to chip in and i am sure there are more that would to. Let me know what you find out. Also would you like to be a contact person on the website, since it seems you are doing alot for the event?
Jason,
I willing to bet that most of the SCCoSW will go for it not to mention others. As for me, count me in as guaranteed to get on the dyno if its available and put up additional cost to make it available for others.
More importantly, let me know when and where if we have to go to it, or what time they can bring it out to us so I can put it on the schedule. I doubt we could set that up at the Ramada, but other locations you suggest may work.
Schedule is almost finish and I will send to Kurt this Friday to post on the web sites. Please e-mail me at Huberg@benning.army.mil because I haven't been home for 3 weeks and still have one more week left in Cali before getting home. The work e-mail I can read everyday. Also waht about selling a few parts to us so we can latter raffle them out.

Well there are not any mobil dyno's in Oklahoma. The closest one I could find is in Virginia and I imagine BIG BUX to get it here. We can rent the dyno in Midwest City for $800 for all day Saturday and then if we need sunday, we can discuss it later. I need money, and at least a weeks notice. This Dyno is about 15-20 minutes from Norman, highway all the way. I will be getting on the Dyno myself for some before/after runs with my new ESM ported inlet/blower combo. I will add names here of Dyno participants:
Jason Marsh
Glenn Huber
Duffy Floyd
Dave Neibert
Steve Ryang
Duane Nettles (Oh boy!)
Rob Whitt
SCPerformance
Chris Spanel
Vic Rattlehead
David Dalke

add my name to that list, Jason.
Jason,
I think this is a good deal as long as we know how much time "all day saturday" equals to and what an average run takes to set up and run. If we can get upwards of 16 to 20 runs in one day, then the cost is very resonable.
Let me know what the owner of the dyno agrees too. I can send $$ when ever you want it once we know further details.
Thanks for the leg work dude.
Glenn
P.S. Put Kurt Sunday's name on there too. I'll pay for it if necessary.

We did it 2 weeks ago at this shop. It takes about 5-10 minutes to get the car setup. We can have all the runs we can squeeze in between 9-5 They are very accomodating if we need to come in earlier, run late that evening or come back Sunday. They will work with us, whatever we need to do.

Jason,
Great news and it looks as if several of us could run several times. It seems to me like we can have folks go there in groups based on a lottery drawing or something similar. We could have like 3 or 4 MN12s go to the dyno while other events are on going, this way you only miss a little bit of the other action while one finds out just what numbers his or hers MN12 puts out is spitting out. Being that all chssis are the same, setup time should be real easy and repetitive.
How much money do you need to reseve it for that Saturday and when do you need it by> I can Paypal you now if you like. We can sort out the balance sheet later on.

Ok it is scheduled!!! We have the Dyno from 9:00am to 6:00pm and they are flexible if we want to start earlier or need to go late. They need $100 deposit sometime in the next week or so.
Jason,
I suspect your Paypal account is the same as your e-mail address, Yes? If so, let me know and I will fire off the deposit for the Dyno to you right away plus additional for a few headlights and motor mounts for the raffle too.
I will put this one the schedule from 9:00 AM to 6 PM but ask the Dyno shop if they will open a little earlier so that they are ready to rumble right at 9 AM without delays.
Is the 15-20 minute drive to Midwest City a cool road to go for a cruise? If not, are there some roads around there that are worth driving on with twisty curves and stuff. Thanks.
Glenn
P.S. Kurt's car won't be there since his travel time got nixed, but I am still contributing big to cover the full expense.

Yea, my paypal account is jmarsh@theshop.net Do it as "Quasi-Cash" so that I don't take too much of a hit on the service fee.
The road from Norman to the dyno shop is I-35 North for about 17 miles or so, then I-40 East for about 8 miles or so, and there is a little construction so not the best place to cruise. The guys at the dyno shop are pretty cool, they'll be ready to roll.

It's up to you Josh. I always find it fun just to see what kind of numbers you're putting out. You are more than welcome to join in if you want. Email me and let me know after you think about it, and I'll put you on the list.
