reverse idle drop off

as the title says i have an almost complete drop in idle when i shift into reverse only.my idle drops to nothing then returns to norm .would any one have a reason or idea for this

I have a similiar problem - but no solution yet... In reverse my idle only dips a little before returning to normal, but twice in one week it immediately stalled out after I'd been driving awhile when I put it in reverse to back up... Very hard to restart afterwards, almost like it was flooded.

Anyway, just wanted to chime in and if I come up with anything I'll post back...
