Hello there, it is time to sell my bird. She has 85k on her. She has just been being garaged winters for her life. Driven in nice weather, mainly highway.
I have switched careers and now that will require alot of car travel. I would rather not put the miles on her that way, and due to money circumstances cannot afford to have her and my other car around.
Therefore, I am looking for someone that will give her a good home sadily enough and appreicate her as much I have over the years.
Her infromation is as follows if I leave out anything please EMAIL me , do not post questions on the board as I check my email more frequently.

The boost is strong around 13psi. 85k original miles on her original engine ( headgaskets where done with the Ford recall) and 55k on her newer tranny ( the 3rd sychro went in the original), new motor mounts where put in at the time aswell, spark plugs were done 1k ago. Battery is new aswell.
The interior and exterior are in excellent condition. *keyless entry I forgot to mention, *viper alarm also installed and has keypad that unlocks doors/pops trunk etc.. and the usual keypad along the side door panel that works excellent. She has never been rebuilt or had a salvage title. No rust !

The outside is the Moonlight blue exterior which is a rare find, grey leather interior, no scrapes, cuts in leather, nice 97% new looking...no accidents. Has all options including moonroof. *has stock Ford tape deck* it works fine , I never changed it...doesnt have JBL.

Tint all around I would say 10% tint..New set of tires nothing fancy, Goodyear all weather 16's...Borla cat back exhaust..(sounds real nice) new clutch only has 10k from previous owner unsure which brand, but it shifts real nice ...tranny was replaced when i purchased the car in 2000 from another 95 SC with 45k on it...shifts perfectly now!! I had to correct hat I worded my original ad wrong if you have read it previously.Sorry for any confusion:]

Cam shaft sensor was replaced along with the EGR sensor....The head gaskets were serviced by the first owner when the recall for them was issued. I have never had any problem with the engine or oil leaks..the car has always had proper ontime maintainence, oil changes etc..

The rear tails lights are tinted aswell. I never converted them to 97's...in the pictures I have taken of the car, the tail lights I was putting the final coat on of tint. so that is why there are no tail lights on her in the picture. I do have a few items for sale seperatly.
Such as regular 97 rear tail light assembly, 97 front head lights and clear corner lights, and mounting panel for conversion to 97' light panel. Im asking 250 for the rear assembly lights, and fronts and 150 for the mounting panel.

In regards to this car, it needs nothing at all. I am the second owner since 2000. She has been garaged in winters. Rarely been in rain even. The interior is in excellent condition no stains, or rips in leather. The exterior has no rust and the paint has real sweet luster. All buttons work , including moonroof. There are no leaks in any weather stripping. The trunk is clean and dry aswell.
The car has never been smoked in, had kids in or pets of any kind. Never been driven hard at all and shows.

Paint is in excellent condition, she does not have a spoiler on her or any mask or anything in front. I do have a decal of the thunderbird embelm on the back of the car in white.

The only thing I would say to make her perfect is put some nice new headlights on her that I have, and she's is perfect! I was setting up to do that prior to sale and then decided not to. The only mild paint flaw would be little rock chip on the hood from driving.

I am asking 7,880/neg for her. I understand what the values they are going for today as I watch the board over the years here. She will be put up on ebay shortly in a few days. Please feel free to ask any questions...although I ask to not have price wars about asking too much, buyer you pay what you want.
I am seeking someone serious who really wants a well taken care of car and will appreciate it. Cash in hand, I will not accept installment payments, so do not even ask.

I have attached some photos below, VIN number is available upon request as well.

Thank you for looking!

Not to burst your bubble but the engine compartment looks like crap. For what you asking for it it should look like new inside and out. Here's a picture of the motor compartment of my 90SC and thats with 125k on it. I picked it up for $1045 on Ebay with a bad tranny. Your's looks like there's never been anything cleaning done under the hood. If you stored it winter it looks like you stored it outside with the hood up.
Good Luck

That's the color combination I would buy. My parent's bought two cars from Michigan from my Dad's best friend and they both were very rusted. Can you post some pictures of the door bottom edges, behind the shock towers up high and the underside of the car. Some of the bolts on the engine are rusted which means to me that the car wasn't garaged or was driven with salt on the road.

I need more convincing since it's a Michigan car.

Yes I can expect that it never rained a day in your life living in Cali..sorry to hear you have so much free time to polish your engine over there.. [B]Thank you for your pearls of wisdom, I have a can of engine cleaner in the garage..you as well as I know can buy an engine looking clean from anyone and have it be a piece of s!@$.

I keep the car well and the battery terminals clean and so on no fluids from oil changes spilling over. But I am not anal person about cleaning. I do not show cars and im not selling the engine. You have every right to investigate whoever is interested, I respect that.

Thank you though for the advice!

Well you represented this car as

"She has just been being garaged winters for her life. Driven in nice weather, mainly highway. "
"In regards to this car, it needs nothing at all."
"She has been garaged in winters. Rarely been in rain even"

What did you expect

And on top of that you want more than top dollar for the car.
You'll find out that when you put the car on EBAY.
And sorry i don't spend alot of time cleaning and polishing my engine compartment, thats what an engine compartment looks like when it " GARAGED" most of its life.
Good Luck to You

The car is nice and appears well cared for, but you are wanting top dollar for a 11 year old car. People want it to be worth the money. We own these cars and know the problems and what to look for. Speaking for myself, I want to see pictures of the underside of the car, the bottom of the doors, and around the shock towers. If I am going to buy another SC it's going to be better than the one I own now, especially for near $8000.

Actually an untouched as in cleaned engine bay will look exactly as hers does after 10 years...Has nothing to do with its performance or exterior..

And liek she said..a can of engine cleaner would wash it up..

Me I keep mine clean..Buty its a peeve of mine..Afterall who sees my engine but me?
