Convoy from Albuquerque, New Mexico

Kelly Simons and I are planning to meet in Albuquerque on Wednesday August 29. Our plan is to stay at the Holiday Inn Express at I-40 and Eubank, then leave for OKC Thursday morning.

I think it's about 6.5 hours to OKC from there.

That way we can clean up our cars, and rest up before Friday!

Anyone is welcome to join us at the Holiday Inn, or simply meet us there on Thursday morning.

You think you will get to OKC in the morning of 31 August? I plan to arrive at the Ramada late on the night of the 30th. There's a ton on stuff to check out and make sure we stay on schedule during the National Meet. I'll call you tomorrow morning or you can call me at (891) 333-2834. Talked with Kurt today, we are meeting in Albuquerque on Wendsday night, NOT Thursday night. Thursday at 8-9 am we will head out for OKSC. Garry.. we are leaving Vegas at 3pm Wendsday, should be in Flagstaff around 7-730 pm. Kelly

hey guys, i will definently meet up with you guys in albq. i'm not sure if it will be on wed. night, or on thurs morning. this is what i'm sure of right now. matt and i are going to tow my car again. we might have 4 people total going. we were originally going to take my car and matts truck, cause 4 don't fit comfortably in my car since i'm a giant, but we estimated the cost of gas to drive both and it's pretty sttep, so we are going to tow it and with the break down history of my car we decided it was a safer choice. i'm not sure of when we're leaving but we are going to go straight to albq. instead of through l.v. just cause we dont' have time. i think that we are going to leave on wed. morning and then we will probably get to albq. late wed. night so we can get some rest. then we'll cruise with you in the morning. damn, i love road trips

That's the spirit dude!! You are Gung-Ho on getting up there. I see an award for most effort to make it there already. After the meet I will be heading to New Mexico for a few days before doubling back to Georgia. I see 4,000 mile round trip by the time I make all my scheduled stops. XB70 hasn't let me down yet in 11 years, I hope the streak continues even after the thrashing I will dish its going to get at the MN12 Nationals.
