I am going to start looking into hotel rates and possibly renting the track out for us, but I need to have a general idea of how many people are coming. If you haven't already, please email me and let me know if you are coming, and from where. Thanks

Jason,

April 27-29 is still a long ways away but checking out hotel availability (with a big parking lot) is right on.

When you check, I think it will be safe to say that we could have between 60 and 150 people show up (possibly more)as momentum and excitement about the meet builds. Check to see if they will let us get "blocks" of rooms at a special rate.

If they do, that means that we would eat the cost of any unfilled rooms, but we would have much more freedom to do things at a given motel/hotel. We are prepared to do that if necessary.

Kurt and I will have more details by the time you go to the SCCoSW T3 mini meet on Thanksgivig weekend.

Try checking the Biltmore on I-40 & Meridian. It's easy to find and they have huge parking lots. I don't know how nice the rooms are, but they should be fairly cheap. Also, check Thunder Valley's website to see if they have the 2001 schedule out. www.okthunder.com (http://www.okthunder.com)

If you need any help let me know.

This is @#%$ed up!!! My wife is pregnant and the 2 due dates the doctors have given me are April 27th & 29th. Does someone just not want me there or what?! I was planning on driving from San Diego in my 90 XR7 since I'm from Tulsa and still have family there. Mother@#%$in @#%$ @#%$it! Guess I'll have to make the next one. Have fun and smoke a lot of Mustangs.

If you got family up there (OKC or Tulsa) I'd find a way there.

Possible Courses of Action (COAs):

COA#1 Wife does early drop: You are there for the big moment, provide support, let in-laws take over. Mother-in-law knows best anyway and you ain't getting any for a while anyhow. May as well be at the MN12 nationals!!

COA#2 Tell delivery doctor to see if baby needs a couple extra days in the oven. Your back before the big day.

COA#3 Take wife to Tulsa way in advance, and have here drop there. Make all your family proud, but wife may never forgive you. Worst COA in my opinion, but doable.

Where there's a will there's a way.

SC there.

I will likely fly in and not drive.....
I just don't like driving that far unless I can stop and start every block. I just love getting on the gas and hearing second gear "bark". I couldn't drive that far without hearing that! So I'll leave the ride at home. Unless I get a '95 SC before then. Colonel Glenn took the last '95 Opalescent White w/ grey leather SC I knew of.:p
