Need M5R2 Tranny . . . Built that Is

I'm lookin' for an M5R2 tranny to convert my AOD LX to a 5-speed. However, I need for it to be able to handle 500 hp. So far I've been told the M5R2's I found on ebay (for Ford trucks) are no good. So where can I get one?

The M5R2 Transmission really does not have an ability to handle that type of HP.

Here is another option... http://www.mn12performance.com/ Rich has a conversion to a T-5 or T-45...I've heard from the Mustang guy's that the World class T-5 is supposed to handle that type of HP and the high RPM, might be something to check into...PZ
