N/A cam in a S/C engine????

My engine is at the shop gettin a full rebuild, and when the cam was being re-ground the shop called and asked if i had the cam replaced - because it apparently is out of a naturally aspirated motor....... has anyone ever come across this??? or is this guy on crack? sounded kinda strange to me


is it the same cam?

the bottom end is still stock from the factory BTW -

n/a cam specs vary a little as do supercoupe cams over the years. I don't
think an n/a v6 ever came with the same cam as a s/c but if it did, I wouldn't
worry too much. Duration is small, lift is low, and there's no overlap so either
cam would work fine for your blown setup.
