Hey guys...got a FREE set of 36# injectors out of a 94-95 SC. Im in the process of rebuilding an engine to slap into my 89 and im wondering if its recomended to upgrade the 30# injectors to the later style sc 36#'ers. There are no performance upgrades on the 89 engine im going to use, i have stock exhaust, MAF and fuel pump. I do have a 73mm B&M Maf that i wanted to put in the car once it was done, but its calibrated to the early style 30# injectors. Should I put them in? Also, is there a way to check or clean the injectors? I'd like to clean them up and check them wether it be to keep as spares for the 94 or use them on the 89.

C'mon guys...dont be shy. As far as the MAF goes...i found out it should be good with 30 or 36 lb injectors so im slapping that in when the car is running...otherwise the car would be stock. I still wanna know if I should put those injectors in...and how to check/clean them.

you need to get the MAFS calibrated for the 36# injectors in order for it to work right
