I was installing a new auto tranny in an 89 SC. I wanted to know what the rear end gear ratio is. It only took 1.5 turns of the driveshaft to turn the rear tire 1 turn. That would mean the car has approx 1.50 gears. Why would they gear the car so high? Did I do something wrong? The car is a turd in 1st, but once the supercharger kicks in, it's gone.
