i was at Quaker City on the 22, heres what i ran
R/T was poor, but i was running test and tune so i was only worried about launching
R/T .775
60' 2.189
330 6.215
1/8 9.571
MPH 73.17
1000 12.388
1/4 14.926
MPH 91.65

This was in 75* weather with a full tank of gas
heres whats done to my car
1990 sc 5 speed with 2.73 gears
stock 94 longblock
94 sc, 36 injectors, throtle body
90 sc pulley (3% overdrive) and maf(looking for a c&l maf calibrated for my injectors)
air silencer is removed and it has a kn panel filter
the exhaust is stock except for hollowed cats, flowmaster resonator, and no mufflers
and on street tires
as usual traction was an issue, let me know what you think and how it compares, thanks
Russell

I would say that you do have a traction issue. I am not much of a drag racer and with the mods I have in my signature ( I had a 10% at the time not the 5%) and ran a 14.8 @ 91 with 196K on the motor. I would say that you probably have some left in it.

where you slipping it in or dumping the clutch, i tried it everywhich way, and 2.18's where the best i had for the night, that was slipping the clutch from 2000 and when it was fully disengaged nailing it.

ok nm you have aod, didnt read that at first, yeah i would say you have traction problems then. i think with the addition of slicks and a gear swap (2.73 to a 3.27) that i should be low 14's, if im lucky maybe high 13s with some other little stuff

I seem to have more of an engine bog then traction problems. The problem is I never get enough runs in to play with how I lanch it. Also last time I was out at the track I had switched to a 5% SC pulley and a 3.5 SCP intake tube. I got two runs in. First one I dumped the clutch at just above 2000rpm and all I got was engine bog. I had my foot to the floor and it felt like it took a life time just to get going. That run sucked. I got a 16.0 I think and trapped at like 91mph still. It barked 3rd gear pretty hard on that run. Then on my second run I tried to dump it at around 2500rpm. It felt much better off the line but then it started to bag again but not nearly as bad as before. The run was ruened when I missed 3rd gear but still managed to run a 16.1 or something like that with about the 90 or 91mph trap speed. So I dont know whats up with it. I probably should try dumping it at 3000rpm just to see what it does. I'll dig up those time slips and post them later.
