well after about 1000 miles on the new motor i took the SC to the track. i got a 16.4@86 with a 2.6 60 ft. i just took it back out last night with 3000 miles on the motor. still not what i wanted but a little better. 16.118@86.87 with a 2.463 60 ft. i am at around 3500 ft. of altitude. i think there is a fifteen in this car somewhere. BTW im running all season tires so this doesnt help

Those times aren't bad considering the elevation. That 16.118@86.87mph converts to ~15.433@90.79mph at sea level using NHRA altitude correction factors. Drop those 60' times and you'd be in the 15's at altitude. ;)

really, thats awsome! so it is where its supposed to be then. thats good and thanks for the info. i think with some sticky street tires i can get a 15.
