View Full Version : Morana Racing - Stage 1 Heads

Purchased these heads in Febuary of 2003 and they worked great on my SC. Now however I'm tearing her down so these are up for grabs. Paid $400 new for them from Morana, now offering them to you at a price of $250.

These are great heads for the money, the stage 1 heads are ported & have match porting.

Only one flaw with the heads which was because of Morana, that being 1 of the valve cover bolts was broken off in the head...never caused me any problems nor should it in the future for anyone else...just wanted to make the buyer aware.

I will post pictures later today.

I would be more than happy to ship these heads at buyers expense of course.

Just let me know. Shipping from Canada (where Morana is) was around $30 so its not to bad...plus I'm sure its less in the states for I had to pay a boarder tax.

I'm not sure if you'd know this...but I picked up a ported/polished intake manifold gasket matched to Fel-Pro's. Would these be able to match up?

are the heads stock valve&valvesprings size, or have they been upped.

I would think so but not 100% sure...it seems logical to me though.

The heads have stock valves and springs...they have been mildly ported is all I know of. The morana website doesn't give any sort of numbers on the heads so I wish I could tell yea. With these heads and exhaust work my car ran a 15.1 and my SC has EVERY option making it a boat.

Keep in mind these are when I received them from Morana...they have been on the car since these photos...but these show the porting and such.

I think you've got a buyer. I've recently had my HG's go...and to save a lot of machine work by just replacing the heads with these.

If you could, work out how much shipping would be to ship to 32817, or Orlando,FL?

Based on the calculator at ups.com I come up with a price of $43.00 to ship them to your location. Sounds sort of high to me, but who knows...if it is I will send you the excess.

Shoot me an e-mail so we can exchange shipping information.

Just one more question:

Why are you selling the heads? Are you getting a new set or just parting out the SC?

Parting her out...Tranny went, motor had blow by...and the Master Cylinder went too so no brake caused me to wreck...time to part my ways.

That's kool man. So you don't think there is anything wrong with the heads? I've got some blown HG's and when I rebuild it...I want to do it right.

Heads are fine...just need to be decked which is standard procedure.

I too wanted to do it right, that is why I bought these when I redid my HG's.

Ask anyone over on www.mamn12.com I won't do you wrong in any fashion...and if you want I can have EECDOC (Mike Siska) take a look at them before I send them...he works 2 blocks from my house.

It sounds like a good deal, man. I was thinking I had to pressure test them, and definately deck them. If you'd want to take them over to EECDOC, that would be kool, but you don't have to go crazy. What would be the best way for me to make payment?

At Fun Ford Weekend, I was killing the tree on each run...nothing worse than a .165. I've made headway on the motor, it's just hard to do stuff without a garage in the pouring rain. I've basically got her down to the heads and the block, so things are going well.

I don't know much...but I'm always willing to help out another fellow SC'er.
