I'm taking a chance here. I'm not sure if we can set anything up this late or not, but I am throwing this out;

I'd like to start clearing out some spare MN12 parts, and I am driving the Lightning to the shootout, that means I could potentially deliver some large SC parts if anyone is interested.

This is what I have;

1 smoked 4R70W. This is the original trans from my SC. 3rd and 4th are gone and the fluid smells badly burned. I did the J-mod and put a Baumannator on it, one of the two trashed the trans - I'm pretty sure it was the Baumannator. Should be good for a rebuild though.

Parts from early SC motors. I have two disassembled SC engines, some parts are gone, some I am planning to use, so not everything is available, no intake manifolds or injectors. There is a block, a set of heads, crank, pistons / rods, etc. Both engines spun rods bearings.

1 early M-90, cam from a parts engine so I don't know for sure how it operates, but it looks OK. I was told it worked fine before the bearing spun.

Lots of interior parts. Mostly grey. Mostly late model, but I do have a 5-speed console plate from a 1989. Airbags (sterring wheel airbag is LX, not SC), steering column, door panels, ACC mats carpet, grey leather seats, rear is ripped at the top from leather shrinkage, LX center console.

'94 Crimson front fascia, I think it has a liscense plate mount on it. '94 crimson hood, with a couple of dings, a couple of scratches, and a few chips.

Decent White drivers front Fender from a 1989, some light surface rust.

JBL sub enclosure, someone cut the plug of so it only has wires sticking out, I can't test it.

1 full set of 1994 SC suspension springs, 1 1989 front swaybar.

Maybe this should be in the classifieds, but these are things I don't want to fool around shipping, so I consider it more of a one time shootout post....

Andy,

I may need a coil pack for my 91...if you have one please bring it, if not I'll swipe one from Micah's car.

David,
I am pretty sure I have one in my garage and if you want it, it's yours. Just tell me where to ship it. :cool:

How much for the heads? Are they stock as in never reworked and in good shape?

LOL Kurt,
You just ruined my day by reminding me that I can't make the shootout. :o

Dave,
I think I might have a coil pack from a 1989. It worked when the car came apart, but the car had 170k miles on it. I'll bring it.

Other Dave,
I just remembered the front springs are still on the ARC shocks. Not a huge deal to me, thay have 100k miles on them, but I remember Charles saying something about cutting some parts off for his car when he switches to konis. Could we possibly arrange to get the parts of the shocks back?

Stan,
The heads have not been ported, or modified. The only thing that MIGHT have been done is possibly resurfacing them since I think the engine that came from had the headgaskets done at one time. As far as price, make me an offer keeping in mind that I want to get rid of stuff....

Andy,

Do you have one of these interior trim pieces off the seat?

and do you have a washer bottle for a 94-95 the one that mounts in the front of the car not the engine compartment?

Thanks
Eric

Eric,

No, I don't have extra seat parts, I'd rather not disasseble the seats. I actually just had to buy one of those panels from Rod ( Rodsv6cougar@cs.com )myself. Check with him he had a few.

I don't think I have a washer bottle either, the one I had got crushed.

Andy,

Please bring a set of axels. I heard it's pretty sticky at Norwalk and I'm afraid of breaking one. I bet there will be at least two broken axels before the eliminations start. Just a prediction.

Thanks Bud,

See you there. :)

Nah, If Coy Miller and Mike Siska can make it down the track in 10 seconds without breaking an axle, so can everyone else. Especially if they have a brand new Raxle.

I have to ask this whats the " '94 Crimson front fascia". If that means the bumper, I want it. I'm going to have to look at shipping charges though.

Besides if you do break one you can just swipe another off of the car next to you. 10 Minute job tops...
