Should I go Carburated or fuel injected?

I need people's opinions here. I dont know which route to go with my next project. What I am going to build is an autocross/road racer. The motor of choice will be a 351W. Now here are my options:

If I go carburated, it will be all motor and high compression.

If I go fuel injected, it will be low compression and blown via a Kenne Bell blower.

Which ever route I go it needs to be farely reliable and produce some nice #s. Maybe in the rang of 500-600HP.

Let me know what you guys think.

You can make more power with a carb. It will be cheaper as well. I'm a fuel injection kind of guy myself. NASCAR uses carbs, don't they?

I am pretty sure that I am going to go fuel injected and with a Kenne Bell twin screw to top it off. Hopefully to fully build/stroke the motor and put down 500-600HP. That would be fun in a 3000 or less pound Tbird.

That is going to be very, very, expensive.
