Well, there is less than 1 month until what I am anticipating to be the biggest event of the season for the SCCOWC. July 21st is the Country Show n Shine at the Thunderbird Show Park in Langley.
I just want to post this to remind everyone that it is coming up FAST! We will be sending out a newsletter in the next week or two with all the info on the show n shine.

I will also be asking for people to donate some items which we will need for that day, so if you can think of anything that we might need which you are willing to bring out for a day please let me know...
I will post a list soon of items that we might need.... :)

Thank you!

Can't wait for it to come. And I am more then willing to help out with what u need. Lawn chairs might be a good idea, so we don;t stand around all day like at PK. Wes hould get a caravvan of cars heading out to this event as well, cpatured on tape. It would be so sweet.

anyone have one of those big open tents that we can sit under?

Yah, I brought a couple of my sweet lawn chairs last year, then when I went walkin around and watched the videos of us, Braz Z and his girlfriend stole my chairs and sat in em, :@

But yah, I dunno what we would donate, we just need chairs and some other things. LAst year most of us just sat on the fence and the others crowded around and we chatted.

*PS: Is there going to be advance registration again, or will it be pay at the door this time?

Edit: Oh ya. As far as a video goes for this one, it should be easy, I picked up a 64mb memory stick for my cybershot camera, so that should be able to take a fair bit of burnotu footage, :)

Who's all up for burnouts on the 20th? Lets go for dinner again somewhere, :)

I shottee winning the contest and becoming the new Houman burnout king, :)

well, im going to bring a tent, a table, a couple of chairs, some extension cords and whatever else i can think of. I know that one thing we need will be a T.V. and a VCR to show off club videos etc. I would also like to have a laptop computer like we did at the motorsports show.

and yes, I think we are going to have dinner the night before like we did last year... that was a blast! and the burnouts... well... it is a SCCOWC meet after all!!! :D

I can make more business cards for the show as well, if we need some. I can round up a few chairs as well i am sure. I'll see what i can about a VCR, not sure bout the TV though. And we get a laptop again, I will make another CD with way more pics so we can show it like a slideshow like last time, that was very sweet. I don;t think we need the wireless interent this time. Seeing we used it mostly at the VMS just to check the board anyways.........I'll try to think of other stuff to bring. If u want pictures printed I could print some too.

oh oh, a cooler for drinks, I'm sure its not too cheap out there.

jamie : that would probably work pretty good, cause i am sure no one wants to bring an e3xpenisve bigger TV and that way the VCR is right there

If we are going to have a lap top then all i need to do is put the website onto a cd and we are set, we will not need internet access, the only difference is that we will not be able to use the guestbook and message board, which is no big deal, we still have all the pictures and video's. So far there is 234MB worth of content, and i hope to add more, but like i said i am still missing pictures from the May 19th meet. and ryan can i get soem of those pictures from the kelowna meet, I will also be taking pictures at mission and adding them in, and another PK night but hopefully there is more light.

Ok i added a new video from ryan and i also added a new page of pictures and now the site is 265MB, not that anyone cares.

well, i already told brad that we can use my vcr cuz its old.. and if something happens to it i really don't care.. so if we need it... its there.

and a cooler is a good idea.. but i think thats a personal preference...
