How do you change keyless entry codes?

The SC I am picking up has the keyless entry but the owner is not familiar with the process to change them. Anyone have any idea?

You'll first need the 5 digit factory code. It's in the folder with the Owner Guide, on the inside of the trunklid, and on the keyless entry module (near the fuel cutoff switch in the trunk). Two more difficult ways to find the code are from the dealer and by reading the resistor configuration inside the module.

Normally you can find it on the left trunk support arm (does that make sense?) Put in the hardwired code, then push 1, then put in a 5 button code of your choice. Do unlock or relock things, you put in your 5 digit code, then push the first button for the drivers door, second button for passenger door, third for the trunk, and four and five together to lock the doors.

(that should be correct info, it's been a while since I last saw my car :-( )
