FYI-

A similar event will be held in Michigan during the first part of November at the Wixom Assembly Plant, home of the new Thunderbird and the assembly facility for the Ford GT!!

With any luck those of us who attend the Michigan event will be able to take a tour of the facility!! :D

Actually October 22, 1954 is when the first Bird rolled off of the line-the 50th meet has been in planning for a couple of months, and it was decided to hold it in November-no telling why, other than the fact that it couldn't be held at Homestead any earlier due to the NASCAR races.
