I just had another '90 SC clear it's lien sale at the Southern California towing company my good partner owns. I also own a silver 90 SC 5-speed that I'm slowly restoring while keeping it on the road. (if that's possible) Anyway I don't have the time or desire to take on another project so I'm going to remove the parts I can use and part out the rest of the car. It's a '90 black SC, auto trans. w/moon roof that works but needs a new weather seal. The drive train/electrical controls look stock as far as any goodies are concerned. Felt a slight vibration reving it up in nuetral so I imagine the harmonic balancer is already junk. I did drive the car around town a bit and the engine is strong, runs good, no smoke etc. but the anti-lock brakes seem to have a problem, the front leather seats are pretty tore up appearence wise and the body has a couple of fist size dents. But it's all there, and aside from someone adding a sound system requiring #2 power wire, it doesn't look too molested or wigged on under the hood. (Unusual for Riverside) Well, someone did place too large of a battery in it w/top posts that arc out on the underside of the hood until it's drained dead of any charge, but someone I know,(yet never listen to) mentioned that it's not such a bad feature if you like to drive with the hood open. Personaly I'd rather see what I'm about to slam into, but hey, that's just me. So if your near the inland empire and enjoy the socializing traffic conditions that only the 91 can provide, leave a post if you want to come take a look. If your out of state, stay there, but let me know what you need and I'll get back to you with photo's price etc. If your a fairly attractive single female, less the boyfriend bagage, I can probably deliver what you need, help with the installation, rate the ride and maybe even suggest one or two improvements for better performance, (along with delivering any parts of course)
Aside from the above, the stock sound system is long gone, the wheels/tires are spoken for and I'm probably going to take the passenger side door panel and turn signal housing/lights, but aside from that most everything else is looking for a home.
