Want to scrap the A/C

i want to scrap the A/C in my SC to make some more room for my MP FMIC, wondering how much work im looking at....,

Scraping your A/C is not going to give you much more room.If mounted
where MP says to mount the FMIC.

But deleting the A/C will greatly help in cooling the FMIC and the radiator.

The last 3 or 4 weeks I have been mounting a MP FMIC.I had allready deleted
the A/C.I am looking at cuting some of the front stock bracing out of my
SC.And replacing with chrom-moly tube frame .If I do this the radiator
will be close to stock location with stock fan.The FMIC will be about 2 inches closer to the front and tilled down & forward. The top of the FMIC will be about 6 inchs from the top of the radiator. With the fan that came with the FMIC.

I will half to make new pluming for the front mount.I plan to reverse the way
the IC tubes run.The blower tube will run to the passenger side of the FMIC.
And the intake manifold plenum tube will run almost straight to the FMIC
on the drivers side. After a water heat exchanger.

The reason I am looking for a way to move the FMIC foreward. Is to have the IC tubes run straighter. And I hope to come up with some extra room to place
a water to air cooler in the intake manifold plenum IC tube.I want to either
run ice water or freeze the tube with gas when racing.

The best way I have found to delete the A/C is just install a shorter belt.

re:

ya i was looking to get the extra cooling, because there would be 2 things restricting flow to the rad, i dont mind one, but jeez, that sounds like alot of work, i hope u didnt spend all that money on MP FMIC for those chrome shinny IC tubes if your not going to use them

Removing the A/C condensor lowered my motor temp big time.
My temp guage use to ride around n & o in normal. Now it rides
HALF way between the off ,or first mark, & n in normal.

The FMIC I bought was used.So I don't have all the parts to install
the MP way.I do have all the shinny tubes though.I am just kicking
around different ideas for the FMIC install.

I am definitely going to change the direction that MP wants to run
the IC tubes .I will need to build me a new blower hat to do it.And
cut up that shiny pipe and weld in some new peices.
