I had pnemonia back in 7th grade and I was stuck in a hospital bed for a week. I know how ****** it is Rich but you'll get over it, just rest up.

Man that sucks Rich, I had that last year(at this same time) while I was trying to build the first prototype radiators and it put me on my butt.
Take some time and get healed up, do not do what I did and keep pushing yourself or you will be dealing with it for a much longer time. Thats stuff can kill you so take the time needed and do what you're supposed to in order to heal up.
Good luck and I wish you a speedy recovery. :)

Well things have gotten worse. He is in the hospital right now. He went in Sunday morning. They found a blood clot in his lungs. He is going to be in the hospital for a while until it clears up. Thanks to all of you for your kind words. I will be sure to print this post out and take it to him tonight. Also please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

All he needs to do is drink a little windshield washer fuild, gas or oil and that should clear it right up. :) Hey, it works for me.

On the 22nd of Oct I had work done on my shoulder. That went well, but by Wed. I was starting to feel bad. Being the big DUMMY that I am I hung around home and hoped it would be better. Well thurs. night I was in soooooooo much pain and could not breath so I got a ride to he doc. They looked and took some tests and the verdict was that my lungs were full of junk. After some talk, and against my wishes they filled me up with drugs and sent me home... By Sat night I was in deep pain, and said that if things were not better I would go back in.. This I did Sun. morn. and after I got there they kept me.. Something about the fact that if you straight line on them they will keep you no matter what.....
The next few days were a real he$$....They had found clots in my lungs and put me on stuff to get this better.
Now it is thursday night and I have just gotten home again. I was given blood thinners, and stuff to help get me thru this. I was thinking that I would do better at home rather than at the Hosp... Besides with what I was getting charged daily I could have built the "WORLDS FASTEST" S.C. Everyday was good enought for the best set of heads and short block out there. So with a bunch of them put together it would have been one bad engine. Maybe I could of gotten a "Forged Steel" crank instead of what I have been breaking......
Now for the rest of you....Thank You All for all the good words. It is times like this that you really see how people look and feel about you. Thank You all for all the prayers, Now it is up to me and God to get me back to the way I was. I have a great "Family" here and I will always remember this.......Rich

Glad your back home and feeling better. Take care of yourself first, there is still plenty of time to get that car ready for the track in spring.
