Siezed S/C Pully Removal

I'm going to pick up an 89 SC with a siezed supercharger. The owner says the bearings are bad, however the question is, is it possible to remove the pully and or belt and limp the car home with out the S/C running? If it is possible what would be the quickest/ simplest way to remove either the belt or pully? I live about 15 miles away, so its not a really long drive I just would prefer not to have to tow it.
Thanks for the input,
Phil

Yes, you can remove the belt and drive it. These cars were designed to be able to still drive the car if the belt breaks.
If you have a little cash for a new belt, then the easiest way to remove it is to cut the belt off with a blade. Chances are it will have to be replaced anyway, if the SC is siezed it may have damaged the belt anyway. good luck
