View Full Version : Re-Programming Keyless Remote Transmitter

I've found the instructions in the Helm manual for re-programming the keyless remote transmitter but I can't get past instruction #1. Specifically, I can't find the two-wire connector, J4, that must be shorted to begin the procedure. Can anyone find the connector in the photo below and point it out to me?


The format used to show the photo was:
without the "".

Sorrry, guys. I guess we can't link directly to pictures in Webshots. You can view the picture by right-clicking the little red "X", clicking on "properties" and copying the picture's URL into the "Address" window in Internet Explorer.

i too tried doing this. the 94-5 connector is behind the drivers side trim in the trunk (by the fuel pump shutoff) the erlier models are behind the glovebox. my problem is that once i jump the wires together, nothing happens. it sucks because i paid 50 bucks for my transmitter, and it doesnt work. :(
