Hey all .... just thought you might be interested. Finally have a new SC to replace the totaled 93. 91 5spd , Bright Red Clearcoat, Titainum Cloth Artic Seats, full power options, NO moon roof :D , 112,000 on the clock. It was Wendels car, now it's mine! I hope I'm going to like the shifting, haven't done that since the 85 HB GT went down the road 6 years ago.

Flip,
Bryan told me you might know where I can get new headlights, other than Ford? One of the lenses blew off before I bought the car. I can use one from the 93, but they are all yellowed out. This car deserves nice new ones !

Congrats on the new SC Glenn!
I'm sure it's a beauty I hope to see it sometime.
I'm not Flip but I do know where to get some new headlights cheap http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7931931518&category=33710
This is where I got mine and they most always have a buy it now auctioun going for some of the headlights in the Ebay store. under $100.00 for the set isin't too bad ;)
Now TJ won't be able to brag that he's the only red SC in the area. In fact I actually almost picked up a immaculant red '93 auto with black leather and all options this morning but it was sold out from under me this morning, I almost thought that you were going to describe the exact one I was after!
You'll get used to the shifting, I didin't think I'd be able to keep up with it but now I love the 5 Speed.

Hey, there is a guy over on the TCCoA, goes by the name Big Mike. He cleans up headlights & sells em out fairly cheap. Looks like a pretty good job done IMO. If you wanted to save some cash & get a set Im sure he has some avail. Or I just purchased some new headlights off Ebay for my Fiance's 35th. Cost $98 shipped, Just type in thunderbird headlights & a bunch of em will come up. Hope this helps

Congrats Glen, can't wait to see ya at a meet with it.. My red 90 was a 5 speed, you'll like it once you get a ripper shifter in there and get the lousy factory stuff off of it..

Glenn,
Nice SC… had him e-mail some photos right after I bought my 93. I bought my headlights from the same place that Greg gave you I believe. Are you going to use anything from your 93 in the new one? Post some photo’s if you get a chance, can’t find the ones I got from him last year. It’s great to have a “running” Red SC in the club. :D :D

Where can I turn in my resignation?

By the way, those heads finally went out...so they should be here within the next few days. Can anyone, IE Flip/Bryan/Glenn/RJ, recommend a reliable machine shop in the area?

Revmaster Machine
5358 Old Winter Garden Road

Pressure Tested, decked, 3 angle valve job for somewhere around $235 I want to say. Would have to check my receipt to be sure.

They did a great job on mine, not sure of any on your side of town.

I think I just need to have them pressure tested and decked? Do you think I would need to do a valve job?

You can decide that after you got them and had a good look. Half of that coat is for pressure testing and decking. Wait until you get them and then decide.

I was told it wasn't going to cost more than fifty or sixty dollars to deck the heads.

What about pressure checking them? I don't think they do it for free. We are high jacking Glenn’s tread on his new SC. Maybe you should start a new one on your SC, since it looks like it will be going together soon.

You can add GOOD LOOKING along with running
Greg / Flip , thanks for the tip. As for "cleaned" used headlights, I can clean the old ones from the 93, but they don't stay that way for long. Have even tried wet sanding with 1500 / 2000 grit paper first. They still fog over & turn yellow in about a month.
Flip, I'll be parting with some of the 93's stuff soon. I got a line on a white 93 with a blown motor that I want to check out first. It's supposed to be in fairly good shape otherwise. The wheels that I had on the 93 are for sale. I'll take $300 for them. Tires have maybe 8000 left in them. Rims were 700 when they were new.
