Carlsbad was fun. i met some really nice people down there. Most of them were from the San Diego Area. Not the regulars on the boards. They all had interest in participating in the club. Of course there was Big John Shelton, a true SC'er. One heck of a great guy.
Just let me say 10 hours down with a few minor glitches in the car and 5 hours of sleep, I had a great time. I borrowed John's helmet and took the SC down the track once. I ran a 15.69 at 88.89 mph. No mods. done to the car, not even the removal of the air silencer. There is only one direction to go now and that's up.
After spending all day at the track, it was a 9 hour drive home. I got home at 130 AM and back to work at 1000AM., pulled a 12 hour shift and crashed and burned on the sofa by 1130 PM.
Now I'm fully recovered and can't wait for the weekend, start of my vacation. Yippee.
Brandon, Abe , and anybody else who wants to drive up here we should get together and do Redding in the near future.

Its a long drive down there glad you made it home safe and it was nice to have one of our best Nor-Cal guys down there runing with them ;)

Now your hooked more speed and more mods are coming this such a fun deal with these cars

Lets work on a day and see if we can chase down Abe to come out and play. I'll get a hold of my retired bud who is a full time racer at Redding and try to get a schedule.
