Oxy Sensor Question

Since adding headers and replumbing my downtubes my left oxy sensor doesn't put out. I replaced it with a new Bosch unit and repositioned it and I still get only a slight output on my A/F Guage on the left side.
I'm thinking of going to a wide range sensor. Does anyone know if they make one to directly replace the stock sensor? (0 to 5 volt output)
My two objectives are to get a good steady response from my guage and also keep my EEC happy. Right now it's throwing codes and making my check engine light come on after about 5 miles.
