Transmission tunnel cover plate

Does anyone have a picture of the metal plate with boot that covers the hole in the transmission tunnel? Any ideas of what to use for the rubber boot?

Does a rubber plug go here?

old inertube for one

Good idea. I knew something simple would work, thanks.

Does anyone have a picture of what the plate looks like? Is it dished/concave/countersunk like the plate for the auto tranny in a 89-93 or flush with the floor pan? I have to make something up and want to get started before the transmission is installed.

this was my old one from my 90 sc 5 speed i had coold air comeing up from the console last winter and one day i was on my way home and found a old truck inertube on the highway and picked it up and cut a pice from it to make a replace ment pice of rubber, chep fix if that is what you are looking for
