Hey welcome to the club, hope the SC goes back together well. Do you ever go out to SCGAA (Seminole County Gun and Archery Club) I’ve got a yearly membership, haven’t been in while. Maybe we can meet up and go push some lead though the air sometime. :D

Importkiller... Welcome to our little corner of the world. Congratulations on the purchase of your "RED" SC. I only hope the addition of another RED SC to the club doesn't prompt TJ to throw himself on a sharpened screwdriver! Greg... keep an eye on TJ now.
Hope we get a chance to meet you in the near future.

I'm going to do that anyway...I'm sure you read about my misfortune?
TJ,
I'm sure everything will work out with the heads.
Wow, Red SC's seem to be more common than Oxford White SC's :D :D

Flip... Are we white (SC) folks rapidly becoming the minority?
Bryan
I think so, wasn’t it "TJ" that was slamming the common white SC's (and I think their owners) a few post back?? :D

Hey Johnny,
Glad to see you found your way to the Florida chapter! I hope the rebuild goes well and I hope to meet you at one of our meets sometime. We should get a track meet together at OSW either Wednesday or Friday night for a mini informal meet sometime.
And I think that if anyone is a Minority it's definatly the midnight blue SCs I think I've only seen one of thoes in Florida so far. But of course I also think that the Titanium take second for the minority in the club, now that Jeremy Janney sold his it's just me and Rick, and both of ours even have the blue interior!
TJ did have a strange twitch in his eye when he stopped by my work today, he may be more unstable than he's ever been  :D ;)
Anyways, welcome to the club!!

AHHHH.... Someone can tell he is unstable? I wouldn't think that would be possible.
You may want to count Flip's 89 when your taking roll call for the Titanium SC's.

ok guys got the engine back in on thursday morning. and i cranked it up last night so she fires great. now all i have left are some odds and ends. i.e temp gauge not reading, oil pressure running high(all the way betwween m and h). and i noticed she has a slow crank when starting. but all and all the rebuild went weel

That's Great, always nice to hear it fire right up after doing a rebuild. What all did you do, just the top end? or did you do the bottom also. My 89 had a slow crank also, ended up putting in a new starter.

And like a true minority, the lonely XR7 is completely overlooked.
I hate you guys...
I agree since this intolerable snubbing of the mighty XR7. Little do you Tbird punks know but I have hatched an evil plan for XR7's to take this chapter over! Just you wait and see. And if my plan doesn't work, then I'll just call you guys dicks. :p

So far what i a have done to this car this week alone is remove engine from car(b/c i need tons of space),hg, new heads, both temp sensors, fuel pump, thermostat, thermostat housing(was rusted out pretty bad) all the wiring to the abs(first time dealing with abs and got it on my first try)water pump, crank, painted ic tubes, put engine back together, put it back in the car, cranked it, smiled, tested codes, got code 15, kicked car.
all this between working 40hours at work, went to school, and planned a suprised baby shower for 80 guest with my girl for my sister. needless to say its been all *******s and elbows this week.
before i change the starter i think i'll change both cables. b/c as i was looking over the car i suspect that they are corroded with in.
