wat are some good exhaust setups for these cars? wat are some good brands and stuff with pros and cons. do these cars use backpressure or are better with free flowng emissions???

Magnaflow is nice but not the only way to do it.

Depending on your location, you can often get a custom made system by a local shop for less than you can buy the parts and have it assembled.

Stock exhaust manifolds dump out of an opening just under 2". If you get custom down pipes made or ordered (www.texasthunderbirds.com is one option) going above 2.25" can be difficult to seal on the ball flange.

So stock manifolds you can do 2.25" down tubes to a dual inlet single outlet resonator/muffler. Then 3" pipe to the back splitting back out into 2.5" dual pipes into mufflers, or no mufflers.

Or you can go 2.25" down tubes, to a dual in, dual out resonator with 2.5" outlets and true dual all the way back to the mufflers at 2.5".

Or you can use a x-pipe in place of the resonator, but then you want the longest mufflers that can fit under the rear to try and fight resonation.

Thus the general rules are to avoid resonation, use a muffler as a resonator, or use a x-pipe with long final mufflers. (longer than stock).

I have true dual setup with high flow cats and dual inlet dual outlet magnaflow resonator with no muffler, it sounds very good not loud.
