If the SC OEM tach. reads 300 - 500 rpm high, then how accurate is an aftermarket tach?
This begs the question how accurate are the Auto Meter or Stewart Warner Tachs?
Years ago I bought a digital tach, accurate to +/- 10 rpm. I bought it because I wanted to know my true speed on the Autobahn. Unfortunately it only worked with a single spark ignition.
