I was bored today at work............

............and I got some sandpaper, paint and masking tape.......

I actually did not want to do this, but seeing I need to get the car painted anyways, I thought I'd give it a try.

Man, I was bored.....LOL Installed a rear spoiler and made it look like a 35th.

I had a spare set! :p I would not paint the good ones.

Thanks guys, I am still undecided if I like it but maybe if I clean the outer lip on the wheels which should be silver, get emblems and maybe a blue stripe.....we'll see!

I have a small favor to ask...one day maybe I could hook up with you and throw the black wheels on my bird...just as a visual experiment that I've been toying with for some time...?

TJ... if you want a cheep way to see what the car would look like with black rims, go to a arts and crafts store and buy a bottle of water-based black paint and a cheep paintbrush. Paint the rims on one side of the car and step back and have a look. If you don't like the results, just hose the paint off.
I did this to the rims I had on my 30th anniversary T-bird. As it turned out I didn't like the part of the rims painted black so I never painted them permanently.

The spoiler is off a 95 Mercury Cougar. It was red and has the led lights. That is todays project, wire in the brake lamp!

Kind of like the silver stock wheels over the painted, maybe like you said with a sliver rim on the outside to break it up some. Just my 2-cents worth.

I was thinking of painting the wheels black, and instead of the silver or blue rim like on the Anny, so a red one with a red bird inset from Bob White...
