I've done my research and the verdict is in. You can purchase NYE Synthetic Oil 605 in place of the Ford or Gm stuff. Contact TAI Lubercants @ 302/326-0200 and puchase the 1000 liter bottle( thats 33 oz.) for $54.95. Speak to Mike. They take Visa or Mastercard and such. Got mine on the way. :D

I did some research and found that the synthetic aviation grade turbo oil part number BP-2380 works just the same and is non foaming which is the biggest concern along with expansion. I get mine for $7.95 a quart and have been using it for a while now without any problems in my rebuilt blower.
Good find on the new source tho Glenn, it's always good to have that info out there!

I simply use Canola oil in mine, works. Plus, when the blower top heats up real good, I'm ready to cook some eggs.
This is why I like to drive with a frying pan on my dash.
( P.S. Thanks for the tip Glenn) :D

Greg,
I pulled up two different comparison charts on both oils. The Exxon or BP2380 are good, but not as good as the NYE oil. Viscosity, flash point, ball wear and so forth have much higher numbers with the NYE oil. For as much as it costs to have a Super Charger rebuilt, I'll spend a bit more for better prevention :D
If you check all the threads on this subject, you'll find everyone has an opinion about what is better. I checked with an engineer at work that knows about lubercants and he sugested the NYE oil by far. Soooo ... everyone draw your own conclusion! :)

Deleting some post, spell checking others! This one I deleted it made no sense. Just cleaning up before Christmas and a specially New year for us! New commitments and spell check will be our New years resolution plus collecting debts. A few other bad habits such as trying to explain everything in detail. I write long post. I just like to make things as clear for everyone as possible.
New stores, many more parts, New Beginnings, more racing, I hope. I have not been as healthy as I would like to be. But I'm just trying to improve our services and my outlook on things. All for the best.
This is why I'm going to delete some post that have no reasons or use to anyone. Happy Thanks Giving to all my old friends? you all know who you are. Hello to our New ones also!
Thanks again,
Victor and Diane

The NYE Synthetic Oil 605 web site has a spec sheet you can print. It lists both the Ford: ESE-M99C115-A & GM: 12345982 p/n's. But it's like you said, draw your own conclusions.
