Is your guage showing no pressure, or are you actually not getting any pressure? If you are not getting it, you may be pumping into the block through a crack, that is if there are no drips visible. How does the coolant look?

Your pump pick up may be too close to the pan. It needs .25" at the least to permit a decent flow, if the pan is dented the oil may not be able to enter the pump.

On a '90 SC, exactly where is the oil pressure sending unit. I did a half as*** search and didn't see a post describing the location. Thanks in advance.

If you didn't do this, it'll suck air and you'll get no pressure. You have 2 choices on how to do this.Take it off and fill with oil and carefully put it back w/o spilling it all over yourself or pack with vaseline.
