I have a quick question..
I just picked a second job at sears for a couple weeks to help with christmas and get some parts for my car.I get a discount on the tools there so i figured i might as well take advantage of it.I have alot of tools alredy but you never know when your going to need that one socket or wrench or whatever that you don't have.So my question is what have you guys ran across that was special that you had to run out to get or something that would be a good idea to buy while i'm there.I already know about the 10mm wrench and have bought a couple of different styles.I'm getting ready to do alot of suspention work this is the reason i ask,but it don't matter if you ran across something that you had to buy for the interior or a winshield remover tool...lol that was a joke.
Thanks Dave

If it was my Sears Xmas wish list??:
Rolling seat
Motorcycle Hydraulic Lift (Fancy Jack)

Tools I already have and find useful for my SC:
Magnetic Extension Pen
Magnetic tray (To hold all yer bolts while diassembly of whatever)
Alles /Spelling? (Pointy and angled screwdrivers)
Torque Wrench (Ft Lbs & In Lbs)
Torx Bit Set (for Hood, Fuel Rail, Cowling, Wiper Motor)
1/2" Drive Sockets/assorted extensions/ for head gaskets and Motor Mounts
Pickle Fork
Bearing Puller and Installer
Digital Ohmeter
Code Scanner
Vacuum Brake Bleeding Kit

This biggest time saver of them all (for the exhaust Manifold's):
Ratcheting Box Ends (God bless the man who invented these!)

I'm sure I've missed somethin in there but a good start. Also a SC Collar Nut tool from SCP is a must. Yet Sears' Tool isle is my Toys-R-Us.. :D

Sears metric box set. Has an 18mm which is great for the belt tensioners

I didn't get mine at Sears, but racheting box wrenches are like the greatest thing since sliced bread, IMHO. Also, if you don't already have one, get a stubby, swivel head 3/8" rachet. Makes the spark plug job much easier.

I'll give you an Amen on that!

If your Sears is like the one I work in, then everything in the store will be 10% off on Saturday mornings in December. I've worked for Sears for almost 12 years now, & we've almost always done that. Take that 10%, plus your 10% associate discount, & 10% for your (hopefully) being in the Craftsman Club, & you can get some EXCELLENT deals in December. Bought my tool cabinet last December!
