I thought it would be cool for you guys to see what I do. I'm in the military, and drive important folks around (2T is the job). Anyway, I won a contest for best uniform and I have the pics, so I decided to post them. I'm sweating in the one by myself. All that starch makes a man sweaty, you know?

EDIT: That's my old boss on the right, Lt. Col. Robert Helgeson.

Thank YOU

No, I thank each and every one of you who pat us on the back. What we do is not a game, and because of the war on terror and 9/11, people see that now. The public may not agree, but they show us love. Much obliged.

Congrats!!!!

I rememeber when I had 2 stripes, but my uniform never looked that good...lol. I was stationed at Pope AFB from '95 to '99. I was an Aircraft fuel systems specialist. How do you like the Air Force?

They actually have a specific job for that in the air force? In the army it is usually the combat arms guys who get stuck on a detail and takes you out of your job!

I too remember what it was like with 2 stripes...and how my uniform looked like that...up till about a month from getting out.

By the way, where are you stationed now? I was stationed at the Air Force Academy. Horrible place I tell you...Horrible. :D

I'm out here in Germany right now, about 90 miles S of Frankfurt. We do the gun trucks in the Air Force as well. The Army was getting tired of mass casualties, rightly so, and we stepped up to help. It is no joke in Iraq, fellas, let me tell you.

Thank you so much for your service young man. Now get home safe and enjoy the freedom that you helped protect.

Congrats on the award, and I would also like to give my sincere thanks for what you and the other troops are doing for our country.

Iraq isnt a joke but I can't wait to go back. Had the time of my life the first time. Nothing like being able to actually do your job instead of sitting there. So you drive gun trucks now? Right on, I miss those things. In the Bradley now and I miss my truck.
