I just got back from South Carolina on a hunting trip and let me tell you I'm glad to be back. It was in the low 30's and highs in the low 50's and we camped outside in tents. Me being a block layer for the past 7 years my blood has thinned to cope with the unrelenting heat florida throws at us most of the year. My job requires me to stand in direct sunlight everyday all year long and only see a handfull of cold fronts each year. But I had alot of fun like always just glad to be back. Looks like I missed a good get together friday but I should be able to make Silver Springs. Can I just show up or do I need to register? My parts are arriving this week, then after it's on I'm heading to orlando to have Brian put it on the dyno so if anyone wants to meet up with me let me know and I'll post the date I'll be up there.

I worked in South Carolina the last two winters and was suprised how cold it was. I was working outside all day. For the Silver Springs show I believe you do have to register, at least for the free admission. Can't wait to see what your car does when you get your "parts". Aside from the cold, how did you do hunting?

I didn't get one this year Kurt. This property is owned by Georgia-Pacific and is very hard to hunt. Only 8 hunters hunt this land in season and you can't shoot anything smaller than a cowhorn, not even a spike so it makes it tough but produces some nice bucks. I was only up there from wed night to sat morning, seen a bunch of turkeys one with a beard about 18 inches long. Oh well, always next year.

Definately do let us know when you will be in the area Jake, I'd love to check out the AR in person! If you plan on staying in the Rouse Rd area that's only a few minutes away from me, if I'm not working I'd be up for a get together.

I'll have to let you know on that JV, my parts have been shipped fedex and will be here on the 9th which is thursday. Depending on how fast I put it on and tow it up to orlando to have Brian Herron put it on the dyno we'll see on when I can get there. I have your # and will call you this week about it. I don't want to leave you hangin but I've been waiting for this thing since september and want to get it up and running.
