89 SC.Yesterday went for a drive and at first would not move off 0 then jumped to current speed but very slow to move up or down as I changed speed.Any experience out there?Tried search and didn't come up with anything.Thanks.

Don't know what causes this but mine does this when it is cold and I haven’t driven my SC in a few days. After about the first min of driving it has always gone back to normal so no harm no foul and no reason to try to fix it.

My speed in my 94 sometimes does it as well.
Like the the peg has gum on it.
It seems that below 20MPH it will stick but not all of the time.
Anyone know what is going on?
Gummy mechanism or electronic connection... etc.

ive had this problem before, if you have white face guages on it the problem is you didnt get the needle on all the way, if you dont have white faces then the problem is the speedo itself. For a standard speedo 20-30 on ebay, for the 145 you, like me, are hosed
