My wife erased your e-mail before I got a chance to answer you. Call me at 847-838-2321 about the hood I am uaually home by 6:00 pm. Tim

Will do, Tim. It will be probably friday. I have away games or night classes every night this week. I know you are excited about this hood, but, I am VERY excited about getting a stock looking hood on this thing. This will be the first car-after twenty years of buiding cars- that I have ever wanted to look stock. The more I think about this 'late-model' rebuild, the, more enthusiastic I am. Do not laugh, but, I just realized this car has IRS. WOW. I know all of you know all of this but I am going to run down the list:

EFI
Supercharged
Intercooled
4 wheel disc brakes
IRS
Automatic ride control
Power rack and pinion
16 in aluminum wheels from the factory

This short list makes it sound like a thirty thousand dollar car. I bought it for $500.00. I LOVE this country.

Believe me I am not laughing. It took me a while to realize what a great car I had. Give me a call and we can meet up any time. Tim

I have been working on a 1990 SC with AOD transmission.
I bought the car about three years ago.It had a bent
fender,so I got it for $750.00 82,0000 miles on it.

It sat for one year before I bought it.And I have been
able to drive it 5000 miles in the three years I have
been working on it.

I had to replace just about every sensor. But the two best
things I did to my SC was ,To clean all the electrical plugins
under the hood. This made my SC run much better.
The second thing I did was to put a clamp or plactic ties
on every vacumm hose I could get to under the hood..
Vacumm or boost lines need to be clamped, they do leak
but will not give you any signs of leakage. After clamping
all the vac lines my SC started to run a lot better and
the gas milage jumped up.

Clamping all the vacumm lines is somthing worth doing!!

Good luck with your project Randy
