so when i go to tear this thing apart where do i go to get the rebuild kit from im positive its my syncro's so where do i get those

Ford dealer, or a tranny shop, usually. Or you could call a vendor directly, but they'll probably need a part number.

This might help. I believe those 'reference' part numbers are the ford part numbers.

Call Southern Gear or Liberty Transmissions and order new syncro's, shims and seals. That costs about $100, a complete rebuild kit is $350 and includes all the bearings. Generally bearings do not require replacement.

Do a search. There is an excellent article/link on here somewhere.

Check on Ebay for M5R2 or Mazda/Bronco rebuild kits. I saw a kit on there that had all the solid brass synchros, bearings, gaskets, and oil slinger, etc... I'm not sure what will fit and what won't, but for $200 you might be able to get a lot of bearings, gaskets, etc... for cheap. Not 100% sure if the synchros for 1-4 fit, but they looked similar in the pics. Those alone are $80-$90.
