My ABS and Brake indicator lights are flashing under normal braking conditions. That means my accumulator needs replacing, right? So, will taking off the accumulator require me to bleed the brakes?

....I HATE BRAKE FLUID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks,

You don't have to. I'd recommend it as part of routine brake maintenance. When you see what comes out of the lines, you'll probably think so too. Be sure to pump the pedal numerous times with the key off to depressurize it before removing it. Or let it sit over night for at least 12 hours.

Thanks,
Well yesterday I just replaced by whole brake unit and bled the system, but I am now seeing those pesky warning lights flash. The unit was supposedly rebuild 10,000 miles ago when I pulled it from another SC last week. I guess not. But, luckily I have an extra accumulator from an old brake unit.

Thanks again,
