Yup. There's one for a '92 SC, which comes with two different body kits. One is the traditional SC set-up, the other is an "aero" style. It has rounded front and rear bumpers. There's also a kit for the Cougar. No areo stuff for it.

Have you tried Amazon, they seem to have everything in the world, and even stuff that nobody knew existed. Also, E-Bay has some good finds.

Sounds like a great project you've got there. I'm sure Jamie (v6Sprout) would be jealous. :p Oh, don't forget to "add" "lowering springs", and to use "longtube headers".

Have fun with it! It's tons cheaper than the real thing. And less BS, too.

There you go. I don't know if they still have them or not. Some people don't provide the common courtesy of stating if something is sold or not. (sorry, had a hard time finding some things for myself)

I also checked E-Bay and Amazon - for the first time in my life neither have a kit. Keep looking, they're out there.

Yea,

I have 3 kits. There hard to come by but you could find them at model conventions. There are dealers that have older discontinued kits however they only happen once a year.

Thanks,

Jeff

You can also catch them on ebay sometimes. Search Thunderbird SC, not sure if there are any on there at this time.

Oh, here's now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1190&item=5945534501&rd=1

Hey Lazybird, I just got lucky. I don't have a model yet, but would like one at some point.

EGGZ, I think a 35th kit will be very hard to find. Good luck!

by Revell-Monogram. They call it a low rider. Drop into your local hobby store and ask to see their Revell catalogue. I looked on the R-M web site, but it's a piece of crap unless you already have their part number. I too have seen them on EBay quite frequently. I'll check local hobby stores here for you. Later.

I got a CH Compressor for Christmas!! Now I kin do all kinds a stuff.....including blow me self up!! :o)

Eggz,

Its really hard to find a "SC" model let alone a 35th. I think i saw only one on the net in the past 2 years since i have been looking for them. What you could do is go to a local hobby shop and see if they can get you the decals for the 35th then you can find and SC model and paint it the 35th colours. I do not think the interior in the model will be different, however i'm not sure since i haven't seen one before. Next time i visit my hobby shop i will ask.

Thanks,

Jeff

There's a currently available '92 available from Revell-Monogram. It's set up as a Low rider but it comes with a set of stock wheels too. Just dont use the provided "Low Rider" pinstriping decals.

Follow this link to see it.

Why not just drop in a big block?

I have never seen one of these kits without the 3.8SC in it. I guess even in the world of the plastic model kit people are deluded into thinking the SC is better. ;) :p :D

Sorry, it's winter and pickin's is scarce. HAHAHAHAA!!!!

Okay, seriously, WHERE are you located? I ask for a reason.

NCredSC - David, are you bidding on this??????????

Way to go, guys!!! As if it isn't bad enough working on these things full scale, now i'll have to do 1/25th-scale HG swaps!!!!!

At least the Cougar has a 5.0, so I know it won't need them for a while. :D

Well, i've signed up for E-Bay. That's not good news for anyone looking.

Eggz, does it HAVE to be a 35th?????? I'll put the feelers out for ya'.

Hey James,

I've got one of the Revell 1990 model kits - can be assembled as a "standard" or the 35th Anniversary kit. Only the plastic wrap has been removed for the outside of the box. Best of all - I'm in Brantford as well ....

Send me a PM and we'll see what we can work out....Regards....Greg

HAHHAAA!!! I'm having SOOOO much fun on the various boards today!

James - Dropped? Probably. However, i'd like to think that I get it honestly without intervention of floors. :p  ;) :D

David - Nahhh. I think i'll drop in a 4.6 with a blower. The 4.6 HG's can take a LOT of abuse. It's an LX-reliability thing, you know. Oh, maybe you wouldn't.

:p :D ;) :o :D

and one of these, too - I hope........

Happy New Year to my fellow plastic enthusiasts!!!!!!

p.s. - if I use a 1/25th blower at 10 psi, that means it becomes 0.4 psi, right???? I think I calculated it correctly?
