sc spacer?

just lookin at morana's site and was lookin at their sc spacer. any body used it before? i'm guessing its a spacer between the top and the sc itself right?
 
It's a spacer to allow you to do the welding work yourself. Extra metal is needed if you want to open up the neck of the SC outlet. The spacer provides that metal.
