baught satellite radio and installed it tonight. really neat stuff. no need to ever listen to any cd's in my car ever again. anyone else have it and what do you think of it.

I got Sirius for Christmas and I think its the greatest invention ever. I do a lot of business travel and it sux having to listen to local radio or a cd for the thousandsth time. It was real easy to install and I love my channel options :D :D

i bought xm primarly because they have the mlb games on there. kinda feeling guilty now that i spent the money on it. 10 bucks a month isnt much but still enough.

I was looking into it but just don't drive enough to justify the extra monthly expense.

For those people that are on the road a lot, it's great. Especially those that drive company vehicles. With the newer receivers that can transmit on a FM Frequency, you can carry your satellite receiver from one car to the next without any need for installation. Just stick the magnetic antenna on the roof or dash, plug the receiver into a cigarette lighter socket and you are on the air.

Make sure if you're looking for Sat Radio that you check the web for coupon codes and such when ordering. Many of them have discounts going around various locations.

I got Sirius about a year ago with my Kenwood deck! It's awesome stuff and I dont' even listen to the regular radio anymore. My morning commute is about 9 minutes, but it's still nice to have. I'm about 30 miles outside downtown chicago so when I do drive down there I have something to listen to.

I also just installed a Pyle DVD player and a Legacy drop down roof mount monitor. I went on a road trip with my kids and probably dropped about $350 on an invertor for a Gamecube, FM Modulator, DVD player and LCD. It was worth it. I love it!!!

I got Sirius when I got my Kenwood deck (free tuner w/ headunit and antenna purchase). It's well worth the $12.95 a month. I love it! Althought it'll be pointless paying for it right now since I blew up the bird :( Oh well..... something to look forward to when it's back up and running (blew HGs.... luckly it still turns a little, isn't completly frozen)
