Will someone in the Dayton area please plan a spring meet

I don't think I can wait until WFC or the Shootout and would really like to get a mini meet planned for this spring. I mentioned Dayton OH, because I think it would be close enough to get people from the St. Louis area and still be within reach for some of the east coast guys like Anthony Rongo and Damon (if he really exist) to attend.

All we need is someone local (Chris Lazzo..Dave Dalke) to get info for a Hotel and a Track that's open on the weekend. Is anyone else interested ?

Dave ~ I spoke to Lazzo last night after I talked to you. He will take the ball on this & get in touch with a few different places around there or by Evenoff's neck of the woods. Either way he said he'll find something for us & host an after race bash by his place.

Chris see about 2 or 3 weekends in March. Whichever the track feels is most accomodating the more run time. Look at it a few different ways. Time they open. Their opinion of a date/time we can get lots of runs in. A Saturday pre track open for 3 hours or so. Or whatever.

The sooner the better! :) I don't know how long I can hold her together, I'm giving her all she's got captain!!

Either March or April is fine with me, but we should probably do it as soon as possible before any of us has a chance to break our cars.

If the turbo car is done (not likely) I'll bring it up for some tuning/testing, if not I'll bring the 91 and a couple bottles of nitrous.

Talked to Lazzo last night.. .. He's waiting on call backs from tracks. .. He's upto hosting everyone, so I guess he'll chime in when he gets word. ... Hopefully soon, track time is almost here!

Well just to fill you guys in Bill Evanoff is talking with Edgewater track and Should go down the 1st or 2nd week of april.


This looks like the plan

Friday night car cruise down by Bill Es house then dinner & Beer
or if the car cruise has not started there is a Quaker Steak Lube in Dayton.

I can get some good rates at the Quality Inn in Dayton. Still checking rates
at other hotels.


Saturday Bill is looking into getting the track to let us in early test &
tune After that Party at Lazzos house cook out Then cruise the town. Hooters should have a little car show.


Sunday Breakfast at the Pancake House Great food, & Bon Voyage

I saw that in the event forum. I'd really like to see it in person.

Which track are we going to? Edgewater is the best track in Ohio in my opinion, but i think tri-state is the only track open on saturday (in the cincinnati area atleast)
