Ya know, not to flame anyone or anything, but it is nice to see the members try to help out other SC cats by not trying to milk eachother for as much cash as possible for used parts...The guy just wants to get his car running at the lowest possible cost. I have seen DIS modules go for as little as 50bux, so I would say to this guy to shop around if you are gonna go used, and shop around new as well...I have also seen prices as low as 80bux for a new module, so like I said..Shop around...

Pretty much my bust on the Canadian currency conversion, although I might add that the 80 green backs is describing a new DIS...I guess I was a bit hasty there, but 150canadian sounds steep as well...

I have seen used ones go for $100US or more on eBay and on this site as well, I never saw them for $80US NEW, but I could be wrong here. Besides they are on national backorder aren't they meaning you can't get them, that may be why they sell for more USED then NEW :) That sucks, I just thought about that!
SO I have no idea what they are worth really, I just go by what others sell them for thats all.

Hey Jamie,
Yea you are right they were having a problem getting them, but now I am pretty sure they are easy to come by online at most dot com parts stores...
I love what you are doing with the V-6 stang, it will be a beast. Very nice combination in the stang, surprised Ford never did anything like that with the stang, there seems to be no method to the Ford Madness...THey come up with all this COOL ~~~~~ and don't offer it as an option...Come on how tough would it have been to make it an optional powerplant?
Regardless, I dig your project...Keep us up to speed on it..

well here is a quick update, keep an eye on MMFF in the next few months :) They are doing a V6 Mustang shootou and only invited 6 mustangs, of which I was one, seems like the fact that only 2 mustangs in all North America have this motor in it, they were very interested. The shootout is being held in Englishtown on July 25th and rain date is 26th.
The car runs now, pretty good too, but the temporary blower I am using is way over ported so I am losing a lot of low end power, mine is jammed so I gotta fix my blower. WE also had to do a lot of tuning to get the mustang computer to work, it still needs more tuning, hopefully I can get some track times and dyno numbers soon.

Well,
I had to follow up on my assumptions, and sure enough the DIS for the SC is available at several parts sites, all of them targeting the price range from 110-160 bux, and that BTW is American Green bax....I went to Shucks, Napa, and a few others...I am pretty sure Shucks was the best price...
Anyways, thought I should follow up on that...Good luck to the SC cat in need of parts...
