Automatic Tranny Wanted-Southern Indiana

I need a GOOD automatic trannny for my 1989 Supercoupe. I , like anyone, would prefer a CHEAP replacement for the junk one I have in there now. The tranny must be within a few hours drive of Bedford Indiana 47421 (Southern Indiana 1.5 hours from Indy, 1.5 hours from Louisville) I do not have time for a long trip. Does anyone have one within a short drive of here? I really neeed to get this car going soon. Thanks.

i have the perfect trans for you. im located in southeast michigan. i have a 1990 sc with a trans that was done not to long ago, doesnt leak works perfect and it has a shift kit in it. i would rather not just sell the trans, but if i have too. i will sell it for 400 or you can buy the whole complete car for 800. car would run and drive great but needs harmonic balancer(stole it for my 93). you can call or e-mail if interested jcharger383@aol.com or 734-255-1823. we could probably work somthing out for pick-up or delivery or meeting half way.

Sounds great, but, I may have lunched the motor yesterday. I wish I could afford the whole car, but, too many toys (sandrail, 1966 Mustang 1-owner Cali Car, 1953 Ford Victoria) and a 10k bill for my Principals license have left me a bit short. I have the Victoria for sale, so , if it goes... That is a worthless response, I know. Thanks for the response.

I just ordered a 2002 Mustang Tranny with tq. convertor and flexpalte from SCCOA member "man of many mustangs". He sold it to me for $400.00 shipped and also included cruise control buttons and horn buttons from a 95 Stang so I could do the FR500 steering wheel upgrade.
