Well to change the oil pressure spring I had to take off the timing cover. Well I turned it the oil pump shaft to see how well it turned.

The car ran but i am thinking I have to adjust the timing sensor now right?

thanks

cam timing

The cam sensor says no adjustment on the cover what is this all about?

I didn't take that bolt off the timing sensor when I took the timing cover off but I did spin the gear to check to see how it spun.

Well the car runs and revs but now it backfires and when you rev it. the engine revs and then falls and this is when I hold the throttle there.

This is the cam snesor right because these seem like all the systems it would cause but I havn't had a car that had a cam sensor like this one

Thanks

if you spun the gear inside there is a good chance the timing is now off, everytime I have taken a timing chain cover off I did not do anything and put it back on no problems, I guess I have just gotten lucky so far but I would think its lsightly off, thats my guess.
