Opensource Flow Simulation Software

"The OpenFOAM (Field Operation and Manipulation) software package can simulate anything from complex fluid flows involving chemical reactions, turbulence and heat transfer, to solid dynamics, electromagnetics and the pricing of financial options. "

Hopefully, we as the SCCOA can use this software to improve our flow rates.

I do not have any experience with this software, but free is good, so hopefully someone here will be able to benefit from it.

I wasn't kidding, I don't know anything about this. I read about it, understood that our community needed tools like this, and posted it here. Can you use it? Cool!

I'll see if I can compile it up for the windows environment....... but then again, if the guys that wrote the program stuck to "standards" during development, then compiling with a microsoft based compiler will probably break it

It's only released in binary? No source available? How is that open source? grr. I'll install it tonight and see how it works. I've been looking for something like this for awhile. I hate msoft.
