hey im new on here, i dont have a super coupe im actually trying to find some info for a friend who has one but no computer. his car is a 90 sc 5 speed with the electronic adjustable suspension. the problem he is having is that when he turns it to "firm" it will switch over and the light will come on saying that it is in firm mode, but after about 10-15 seconds the light goes off and you can hear the suspension click back over and about 50% of the time it will stay off and 50% of the time it will come back after about 10 minutes of driving. sometimes though after playing around with the button a bit, it will stay on. he is just looking for suggestions from anybody who might have had a similar problem and solving it or anybody who has an clue what might be causing it?

I would start by lubricating the actuators that are on tho top of all four shocks. They sometimes get stuck...but that would usually cause a flashing ride control light.
