He needs to ditch those stickers, put a SC rear bumper on it, and tint the windows. Then it would look cool, but hey it does have its own sort of style thats kind of cool. Just not my taste.

when you roadrace a car you are required to have certain decals on the vehicle, so stfu, and why in the hell would you deface a nice LX with a gay SC bumper thats just as bad as all the ricer idiots out there putting a type R emblem on a car that aint a type R.

HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY.....
What's all this talk about the SC bumper bein gay? You said something about his car being a 5spd too. I wanna know where is the SC bumper? LX's never came 5spd, but you would know this given your vast LX knowledge. So where's it at? Hangin up in his garage or something. Wouldn't wanna deface a bird with plain ol bumper.

its a nice car but its low low low then the bumpers up high it needs to have a lower bumper to be even and to the person who said shut the f up you should because thats out of line

Papa John was one of the first to swap a T45 into his 4.6 Bird.

WOW now killer settle down now before you start foaming at the keyboard lol. I know all to well about having to have certain decals on your car for certain racing events. Like for example, for the SCCA cendiv event I was in I had to have Subaru decals on my FORD. So dont tell me what is required in racing events. Besides what racing sanctioning body uses that old school NASCAR decal and the red ford emblem on the quarter panel anyways? Not saying he doesn't roadrace or anything because I dont know the guy personally. Why would you put a SC bumper on a LX you say. Because it looks GOOD not gay. Tons of people do it. You need to learn not spout off over stupid stuff like this.

i always wonder why when someone makes a comment about how they like a car there's always others that must throw in something they dont like about it and then it causes a little stir. i think it's fine to have opinions, we all have our different tastes but a lot of the times people take suggestions the wrong way,,, i can never say anything bad about another's car, even if it does look rediculous... (ex..grand canyon size muffler on an import) i may make fun of it... but it's never to their face ha. i always like to see what weird things are possible to do with cars, i hate to see heart rates go up especially on this site when someone just says how they like a certain t bird. to all of us here that have t birds/sc's, they are all awesome, i dont care if they are going through surgery, missing vital organs, or just run great, they're all awesome.. and whatever weird thing someone wants to do next with a t bird, id love to know about it. it's what this site is for, to share... :) now everyone join me in a group hug..."captain, remember your pressure points"

I'm not sayin anthing bad about the car, just givin keith some crap. Throwin sc words at a die hard lx runner and vice versa gets under the skin of some. I think it looks great, but i think the rear does look kinda plain. The 96-97's were the more agressive looking of the non sc flock of birds. Also, when said it was 5spd, i automatically think sc, not lx with a t45 swap.

Well somebody who's a die hard SC fan would notice those aren't sc side skirts ;)

I was going to say something about that earlier but figured it wasn't worth being screamed at for it. I kinda wanderd to myself why they were put on a car that road races. JUST MY OPINIONS THOUGH.

Could those stickers be removed in between race events? If so, that would make that Bird 10 times sweeter than it is (I have always loved black Thunderbirds) and it makes it look a lot more classy. Especially when you mix in those black rims (and the yellow on the tires...MWA...beautiful).
I halfway agree with quick35th in that you should, when money/time becomes available, consider adding a lower rear bumper cover just to even out your bottom sill line. It would accentuate the perceived length of the vehicle making it look all the more like the cruiser it is. However, I would recommend against an SC bumper cover because, since it's an LX, that would be really dumb and I agree with you that it's doofy to do stuff like that.
However, I am curious. Since you swapped the T45 in (which is a magnificent transmission), have you done any other mods, performancewise? If so, what?
And, most importantly...how muchya bench? I mean...what do you do in the quarter?
Nice looking car. I feel bad cause now I have to figue out why I bought a car with gay looking bumpers. Oh now I remember cause it looks like no other car out there! You guys have to quiit working so many hour and stay on your MEDS. Its all I matter of taste. I wouldnt have any color but red, thats my taste. All this name calling in a little out of hand. After all we do all know each other. Tim :)

Hey I haven't been doing any of the name calling. I have only been defending what I originaly posted. Nothing more. I like the car I just felt in my own opinion that it need a few changes to be perfect.
